What is cat insurance?
Cat insurance helps you cover the cost of veterinary treatment if your cat falls ill or gets injured. To find out more about how cat insurance works take a look at our guide to cat insurance. Explore our plans below and find a cover level to suit your needs.
Our cat insurance policies
We have 5 different types of cat insurance plans from accident-only with a £2,250 vet fee limit to lifetime cat insurance policies offering up to £8,000 vet fee cover. Our plans also offer dental treatment for accidents and injuries, accidental damage cover, loss and recovery and much more to give you added peace of mind. The table below shows the cover details for each policy and helps you to find cover to suit both your cat’s needs and your budget.
Protecting your cat's pre-existing conditions
If your cat has pre-existing conditions, getting affordable cover for them isn’t always easy, however we can help. We were the first insurer to offer online screening of your cat’s pre-existing conditions, we call it Champ.
By simply telling us about the severity of the conditions and the treatment that your cat has had we’ll be able to give you a definitive answer on whether the conditions can be covered and how much it’ll cost. This is all part of your online quote.

Insuring older cats
As your cat gets older cover becomes more expensive and, in some cases, it can be difficult to get insured at all. If your cat is over 10 years old then they’ll be classed as senior pet. We don’t have an age limit for cover so let us see how we can protect your feline friend no matter their age . Find out how we can cover them.
Pedigree cat insurance
Insuring pedigree cats can become more tricky because they are more susceptible to hereditary diseases, but our pedigree cover offers protection for over 100 breed and varieties.
If you’ve got more than 1 cat in your household that you’re looking to insure, then we’ll give you a 10% discount when you add multiple pets to your quote.
